Colbert, Stewart viewers more well-informed than those watching O’Reilly, Dobbs.

I am not surprised by this in the least bit. Anyone who watches Colbert or Stewart have to already have a modicum of understanding about politics and current events, and also the intelligence to understand the humor. Colbert and Stewart actually do a much better job at covering the news because both shows are brave enough to point out the absurdity of the way news unfolds and is covered. The people who are too uptight to watch these shows are more than likely the same types of people who don't grasp the concept of context and would probably go running to their liberal friends outraged at the "Hatemongering" they witnessed. Although being that these show are already on Comedy Central they tend to get a free pass on the hate labels.  I have been partial to the Colbert Report as of late. I used to really enjoy The Daily Show, but sadly I feel Jon Stewart started to let too much of his political leanings show thru and I started to get a little tired of getting the "Bush is Bad" undertones. I will say this however, Jon Stewart is still a master at his game and very few can compare to his talent.

Educators question drinking age

Here we go again, is it that time of year again? Personally I think the comparison to support drinking at 18 because you can serve our armed forces at 18 misses a very valuable point. You go through extensive training to serve in the military. By the time you are put into active duty hopefully the individual has gained a level of personal responsibility to carry a weapon and follow orders. The same can not be said for someone who turns of drinking age, hopefully the parents have done their job. As for the argument of being able to vote at 18 and not drink, I would almost rather see the argument made for raising the voting age to 21, but since we are not talking about that we will avoid that question. Voting again requires a certain level of responsibility to know who and what you are voting for. However, stepping into a voting booth and casting a vote really runs very little risk of death or injury to yourself or others. This cannot be said for an 18 old drinking.  And finally, I don't buy into the argument that kids won't binge drink in college just because they are allowed. It's still going to happen regardless of whether it's legal at 18 or not. Personally I think it's best to leave the age where it is and stop trying to compare drinking with other age required issues. We need to do a better job teaching the kids to be responsible, parents need to educate their children at home about the dangers drinking can cause before they go off the college. I don't think it's going to make a huge difference in alcohol related accidents in the end and personally I think it best to err on the side of caution as I don't see the youth of today getting any smarter or more responsible.

Obama tells McCain to lay off

Obama took McCain to task on Tuesday, saying: "one of the things that we have to change in this country is the idea that people can't disagree without challenging each other's character and patriotism. I have never suggested that Senator McCain picks his positions on national security based on politics or personal ambition. I have not suggested it because I believe that he genuinely wants to serve America's national interest. Now, it's time for him to acknowledge that I want to do the same.
Why? If McCain doesn't feel that way and feels he has every reason to question his political positions and personal ambition why shouldn't he? Don't the voters in the end make the final call on whether or not they chose to agree and vote for McCain or Obama depending on their opinion? If people want to say this is bad campaigning then what is it when Obama says Republicans will use the race card when no one has? I was so glad to see the Saturday Saddleback forum because we were starting to get to the issues and the candidates stances. Neither candidate has been guilt free in their attacks on the other, but there in lies the truth. Most presidential campaigns play out like this, so everyone needs to quit whining and just campaign.

PAPER: OBAMA MAY ANNOUNCE VP IN AM?

(From Drudge Report) The NYT newsroom was buzzing late Monday afternoon after Obama-beat reporter Jeff Zeleny learned how the Dem hopeful has finalized his choice for a running-mate. Obama has set out an elaborate roll-out to announce his decision that will begin with an early morning e-mail to supporters, perhaps as early as Tuesday, Zeleny has been told. Is it Nunn? Is it Kaine? Is Hillary there? What about Kerry?
Does it matter? Absolutely not. If Obama does roll out his VP I personally believe that the timing is intentionally set to take some of the heat off. Obama got beat handily on Saturday and he is currently still wounded from the Saddleback forum, so what better thing to do than deflect the negative by giving the media something else to talk about? The truth is Obamas VP will mean virtually nothing to his campaign. Obamas campaign will always just be about Obama and no one else. It's the hype they created and it's the hype they must stick to if he ever has chance to win this election. Yes that last statement gave off the the impression that McCain has the advantage and I believe he does. The polls may not show it and the media may not expose it, but Obama is heading towards defeat. The man has no leadership skills and Saturday was just the tip of the iceberg of what we can expect from the debates. Getting back to the VP pick for just a moment. While Obamas VP pick means next to nothing, if McCain picks a good strong conservative it could mean everything, including his winning this election by a landslide.

Bee's Bush visit cost taxpayers about $100,000

(Tim Bee will be joining us on the show at 7:30a Tuesday morning)
I just got a breaking news email from the Tucson Citizen and it was this story. I am the first one to hop on board the frivolous spending of taxpayers money in this town, but this is a little silly, yes I said silly. It was also silly when a few Republicans complained about Hillary Clintons visit several months ago and the security she needed when she spoke at the UofA.
We are talking about the President of the United States after all, I don't care how you feel about him, the office still deserves a level of respect by all. Some of the cost was covered by the Bee campaign and the other 3 groups for which the fundraiser benefitted.  It was all done under the rules and guidelines that have been in place for years set by the White House for any President. What of all the talk of the tourism aspect of having Tucson in the news with the Presidents visit? How much is that worth anyway? Think of the tax revenue that was created by all the Democrats who went running out to Michaels Arts and Crafts to make their Anti-Bush signs. There is so much taxpayer waste already in this city that the paper never makes an issue about that to make this a "Breaking News" alert is really transparent to how they really feel. It's nothing more than the "Bush is Bad" mentality, and an opportunity to take a stab at Tim Bee to promote Gabby Giffords. Anytime the President visits a different city for whatever the reason it's just how it is for the city to cover some of the costs. If people actually end up getting upset over this I may just have to drop a few dollars of my own hard earned money Bees way just to say I paid my part above and beyond what I may or may not have paid in taxes. Nothing to see here, move along, move along.

Defense Official: Russia Has Short Range Missiles in South Ossetia

Russia continues to fly in the face of promises made to stop its efforts to destabilize Georgia. No matter what side of the argument you fall on as to who started this entire conflict, Russia by its very actions is showing everyone that they really don't care to be an ally of the US and don't care whether or not Georgia was justified in it's attempt to go after South Ossetia. The story has evaporated from most media reports and yet the people of Georgia who are our allies and fought along side our brave men and women in Iraq continue to fight for the freedom they deserve. I hope that in the face of Russian defiance President Bush will do what he has promised and defend the people of Georgia.

Smoke and mirrors obscure raza studies

They're back.....!
So if this latest article from the AZ Republic is true, then the situation is even worse than we thought. The part about the test scores not really being better is somewhat irrelevant, because if the test scores were indeed lower, the Ethnic Studies crowd will just claim that the tests are biased (they already claim that, by the way). The part that I am most concerned about is the fact that these students will be able to choose between the standard American History and the propaganda, hate filled, biaed Ethnic Studies. Just read what a former teacher wrote about the program. Until TUSD makes it a required program they will still use the argument that the kids choose to take the programs. The sad truth is that the kids and parents for the most part do not understand what they are getting into. The more vulnerable kids will see the helping hand of the teachers in these programs, they will see the attention that they want and they will be drawn into the program. They have no clear understanding of just what they are about to be exposed to and why would they? TUSD isn't exactly known for its academic achievement and in a time where kids are searching for role models these Ethnic Studies seem like of a diversion. Those in charge of the Ethnic Studies know this and use it to their advantage. Get them in, grab them young, make them victims, make them angry and send them on their way. The harsh reality is that I don't think public pressure is going to rid our city of this dangerous class. After what we just went through with the Isabel Garcia incident, I am afraid the forces behind these programs are too strong. We have to be better voters and work to elect officials and school board members who will not tolerate having the tax dollars wasted to promote such blatant propaganda.

Kleenex protest ends in 7 arrests at Kimberly-Clark

Websters definitions of insane: a: extreme folly or unreasonableness b: something utterly foolish or unreasonable. Therefore I am perfectly comfortable calling these people downright insane.  They know full well that their antics are not going to stop Kleenex from conducting their business. What they really want is publicity and they usually get it. However the only people who are really impressed are the whack job leftists who are probably already card carrying members of Greenpeace. Which brings me back to the fact that these guys are insane. They really serve no constructive purpose other than to be able to tell each other how great they all are. It all comes down to selfishness in the end. They don't care about true reform of what they fight against. If all the evils that they currently feel are being inflicted upon the world were to suddenly change in their favor, I can almost guarantee that they would find something else to fight against. This is the same reason why so many Communist/Socialist minded activists grab onto the whole 'green' agenda. They know that they can't outwardly promote what they really are so they use the environmentalist crowd to come in the back door, promote the ideas of a socialist government, redistribution of wealth through higher taxes and promotion of mediocrity.

Terrorism Investigated in Case of Somali-Born Man Found Dead With Cyanide in Denver Hotel
New Al Qaeda Manual Reflects Changing Face of Terror

A radio friend of mine early in my career and shortly after 9/11 said that we will get hit by the next major terrorist attack when we least expect it. Well we certainly didn't expect Russia to start attacking our allies and our response has been fairly weak in my opinion. I don't think we can afford to let our guard down right now.  Russia waited for the Olympics to start stirring up crap, we are still in the middle of the games, our eyes are on Georgia, we are gaining ground in Iraq, in the middle of an election and the media can't make heads or tails of any of the coverage. Try to imagine for a moment if terrorists decided to do something really stupid right now. I am not sure the country would be able to handle the turmoil it would be thrown into. I wouldn't be nearly as worried right now if we just had some leadership. Bush has now disappointed me greatly and the only one who seems to be talking tough and standing up on his convictions is John McCain. I gain more and more confidence in his ability to lead every day. In the meantime we are stuck with an administration that seems to lack the ability to truly handle this situation.

After Warnings to Moscow, U.S. Has Few Options

At the risk of being called a warmonger, just why is it we can't take a stand and help the Georgia military fight the Russians anyway? The threat of WW3? Russia doesn't want to go war with the US as far as we can tell at this point. Sure they are pounding Georgia, but not nearly as bad as they could if they really wanted to. Russia used the element of surprise to their total advantage, but all it took was the will to do it. Think about it, what if we did exactly what the Russians believe we won't. What if we just laid the gauntlet down and brought in the military to fight them out of Georgia. We are acting like the wimp on the school yard getting beat up by the bully. We have more of a right with Georgia being an ally and helping us in Iraq, to use the might of the US to help defend them than Russia did to attack them. If the pundits are right and Russia doesn't want a war then all we are doing is keeping our word with the people of Georgia and defending their freedom. And if Russia wants WW3 then it really doesn't matter in the end anyway because they will force our hand to go after them with our military anyhow.  At least if we stepped up we would be sending a message to other allies and counties that want freedom that we believe that freedom is worth defending.

New conservative movie? - "This is the Dust of 3000 Innocent Human Beings!"

Ok does this sound like a bad idea or is it just me? A comment in the article hit the nail on the head, leave this type of stuff to the left. It's a battle that is just too entirely hard to wage against the left. Liberals get a free pass to call anything offensive...trust me I know....The left gets to do this because most of them stand on no moral or ethical ground, it's a self centered mentality void of any authority or higher power. "If I am offended than it must be offensive" "If you disagree with me then you are wrong....always". They throw around words like racist, hatemonger (My personal fav) divisive etc..when really they are just pointing out what they are. This movie may have the best intentions, but is it really necessary to just hand the left ammo over something so trivial? I learned a lesson with some silly videos I made (more on that below). That lesson was that sometimes the tactics used to fight the evils in the world need to be calculated, even if you are in the right and have not done anything wrong. Taking the high road counts for a lot. I think these film makers maybe doing a disservice to conservatives in the end. Conservatives aren't allowed to be funny, especially to sensitive liberals who have a burning desire to be victims.

Stanton: Piñata furor case of misdirected fury: Part Deux

I needed to take a moment before I let yet another lame opinion piece slip into history. Billie Stanton tried to take a stab at me because of my videos that I made with the Isabel Garcia pinata. She regurgitated the same insane line of thinking of Derechos Humanos that my videos were somehow laden with sexual innuendo. I asked her to come on my show to clarify her statements, and of course, she declined. She is a coward. Much like Anne Brown at the AZ Star, she likes to put out their little hit piece then go into hiding. I don't care what anyone thinks of my videos, I think they are funny. I didn't bother putting them back up because others have plastered them all over the net, so why waste my time. I still stand by why I took them down, because they were a distraction and continue to be a distraction. And just for good measure here is once again Isabel Garcia in her own words.
Garcia told me Friday that she thought the Arpaio piñata was great..."I think it's a fair expression of First Amendment rights. I thought it was funny. It had him with the pink underwear and, of course, his face. And it's a piñata. It was a fun thing for the kids that broke it," she said. Garcia said she "wouldn't sweat it all" if someone were to bash a piñata in her image. That would be minor compared to the abuse she has faced, including name-calling and plenty of death threats, she said.
But I suppose she and others draw the line at hugs and stupid jokes, isn't that right Billie? At the end of the opinion piece, Stanton gave us a story that she's quite fond of. Tell me if this sounds familiar...
All this misdirected fury and sorry excuse for law enforcement made me nostalgic for a sheriff I knew in the South. Dale Carson was the perennially re-elected sheriff, from 1958 till 1986, of Duval County, which is consolidated with the city of Jacksonville. Technically, it's in northeast Florida. Culturally, it's south Georgia.
But when a sheriff's office clerk started recruiting for the Ku Klux Klan, Carson fired him at once. Ten days later, erstwhile employee Robert C. McMullen marched on the Duval County Courthouse with his wife, KKK Imperial Wizard Bill Wilkinson and three others, all clad in KKK hoods and robes. Deputies had to escort them into the courthouse as an angry mob of about 300 residents screamed anti-Klan sentiments. The mob was white. McMullen later made a federal case out of his firing, claiming his First Amendment rights of speech and political expression had been violated. But the courts, right up to the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, found that a member of the KKK, which foments violent crime, isn't suited to work in law enforcement. It's heartening when law enforcement and white majorities show good sense and human decency in the South.
It's a damn shame that's not happening in the Southwest.

So here you have a nice little tale of how just because you express your 1st Amendment Free Speech doesn't make you immune to acting like an idiot.  The person was an employee of the state and acted inappropriate for their job position. The joke is on Billie Stanton since she was trying to use this an example against Arpaio, but it really is a crystal clear example of the exact reasons why hundreds of tax payers believe Isabel Garcia should lose her job. So thanks Billie, your article was a waste of time, but your stupidity gave us a great story to use.

Speaking of Pinatas, did you know there was a movie!?
 Piñata Survival Island

The movie is, quite literally, about a killer piñata. If only Derechos Humanos and Isabel Garcia were there they could have saved lives and beat the evil Pinata to a pulp. Might make a good sequel?

AS WE CELEBRATE THE FIRST YEAR OF THE SHOW!

Stanton: Piñata furor case of misdirected fury

The Tucson Citizens Billie Stanton decided to drop a little anniversary gift for me in the paper today. Of coarse she stops short of calling me out by name, which is oh so brave of her. Needless to say if you bother to read this waste of time you will find once again the empty argument that Joe Arpaio is so bad in her opinion that Isabel Garcias actions are totally appropriate for a Lawyer and Pima County Public defender. I wish these guys would at least come up with something new about this story to write about. Lastly, how many of the writers for the local papers get their marching orders from Derechos Humanos anyhow?

Tire slasher hits vehicles of Humane Borders group
Tires slashed at 16 sites in UA area over weekend
19 flats found on Humane Borders vehicles

Humane Borders suffers from the same mental illness that infects other such "humanitarian" groups like Derechos Humanos, they want to constantly play the victim. It can't just be that some punk slashed tires, including not just Humane Borders but other cars in the surrounding area. Nope, they must say they were "targets" as if someone decided to slash Humane Borders tires and then was having so much fun they went out and slashed a bunch more. I don't see the other people jumping in front of the video camera for the news crews saying they were targets or victims. The other thing I find amusing is that in the first Tucson Citizen story a member of Humane Borders requests donations to the group to help replace the tires. Ok, fine but what about the other peoples tires that were slashed who didn't belong to Humane Borders? Oh yeah, I forgot, they are not as special. However, while the TC article wants donations, the AZ Star article has another member saying that all the tires were covered under their insurance
? Oops....I certainly hope that Humane Borders wasn't trying to capitalize on their unfortunate circumstance by asking for money when in fact they didn't need any?

The e-mail inbox is falling out of favor

I love how the experts come out to tell us just how awful something is for us. Like I need someone else to tell me how I feel and think. It really comes down to this elitist leftist mentality that says, "You don't know what is good or bad for you and you need smart people to tell you".  Things like email, fast food, Wal-Mart etc are always under attack from those who feel like they are just too good to be involved in such things. The truth is that those who would want to tell you how bad email is don't bother to think for themselves. They trust in everything but themselves and they believe that other people shouldn't trust themselves either. It's all about big government control, plain and simple. If you don't like email, then don't use email, it's about choice.

Almighty Supremebeing Allah Arrested

I only put this up because it may very well be the best headline I think I have ever seen. I wonder if his parents named him Almighty Supremebeing Allah, if so he certainly is having a hard time living up to his name.

LOOK IN THE BELOW IN THIS BLOG FOR INFO ON THE POSSIBLE CRACKING OF THE ZODIAC CASE.

Bush's Georgian Betrayal

This is tragedy of epic proportions for the people of Georgia who wanted to live in a free democracy. I am afraid that we, the very country which encouraged them to move towards freedom have ended up leaving them behind. Russia is flexing its muscle and leaving a wake of death and destruction. The US can only sit back and watch, or can we? It's a problem with no simple answer. As I have been watching this unfold over the past few days I am afraid that we should have stepped up and stood with Georgia from this attack from Russia. I understand the ramifications of such a move could be disastrous as we would essentially be going to war with Russia. However at what price are we going to step back and watch a country fall to oppression? What message is sent to any other country that may wish to be a free democracy as well? At what point do you say we cannot enter the fight, even though it is just and right? These are all tough situations that require restraint to do what is best for our country. But I just can't help but wonder at what cost of the lives that are being taken and at what cost are we paying as a nation in the eyes of the rest of world to allow freedom crumble?

McCain prescient on
Russia

In the meantime who do you want at the helm of our great nation in times of crisis like this? This is a crisis and it requires leadership, finesse and expertise to decide not only what is best for these United States, but also those allies of whom have sought freedom and democracy with our encouragement. As if for a majority of us we needed anymore reason to not vote for Barack Obama, here is another for all of those who support Barack or are on the fence. John McCain has already stepped up and showed more leadership at the time of writing this blog Monday afternoon than the Bush Administration has (largely due to the fact the Bush camp is still trying figure out what to do). Barack Obama simply isn't capable or ready to handle a situation like the one Russia has put the world into. Is this the "3am call" example for the candidates? I think the argument is strong that it is. Obama is on vacation (which I still don't quite understand, but that is neither here nor there) and McCain has spoken out and spoken strongly. If this man is going to be our next President I am as confident now as I ever was that he will be a fine leader.

Jon Justice Show Exclusive: Zodiac Killer Case cracked by a local Tucsonan?

So as I have said before I love a good mystery. I am also a huge movie buff and fan of the director David Fincher of 'Fight Club,' 'The Game,' and most recently 'Zodiac' fame. The movie chronicles the search for a serial killer active in California during the 1960s and 1970s. Many theories abound as to the identity of the killer, although no has ever cracked the case. After being contacted by a local Tucsonan who believes he has discovered the identity of the serial killer, I met with him to see for myself. What new discoveries he showed me, along with the other evidence that already exists convinced me that he may very well have discovered that which no else has. Or did he just discover what others have been trying to hide all along? We will be speaking with the individual who made the discovery at 8:30.  Don't miss this Jon Justice Show Exclusive!

Below are images enhanced in Apple IPhoto taken from the actual photos of one the  Zodiac letters here dated June 26th 1970. I do want to say that while the name L. Allen is visable (look in the lower right below THE & CODE) in the below photos, it does not compare to how clear the name and letters appear when viewing in person. Hopefully those are looking to confirm what Dr Lawrence D'Antonio has found will get a better idea of what to be looking for.  The name Arthur  also appears in the upper left  portion of the same letter going in the same direction, however I was unable to get it to show up as well as L.Allen does below.

Law shuts out some students

So the laws already in place that say most illegals can go to school are not enough? It's never enough is it? It will never be enough to satisfy those who feel that being in the country illegally is no big deal. It really is getting old and they keep using the paper and the media to keep pushing the same argument over and over. The vast majority want to see something done about the people in this country illegally and when I say get something done I mean deportation not amnesty. I do not feel sorry if someone cannot provide documentation and therefore can't get funds for college. I have to provide a SS#, proof of ID, smog cert, etc.. when I get a drivers license or register my car, if I don't have the right documentation I don't get to drive! This is not Americas fault as they always say that it is. People all have choices to make and the result of these choices are the sole responsibility of the individual, not the laws that restricted them.

Democrats Shrug Off Edwards' Affair, Paternity Questions
At Fridays screening of the movie 'Border' at Java Edge we were watching the "breaking news" coverage of the John Edwards affair. While thinking out loud I was saying, "no one cares," and pretty much everyone agreed. However, think about about what would have happened if he got the Democratic nomination or was Obamas VP pick. Nevertheless he didn't so it really is a non issue. Well it's a non issue as far as the election is concerned. It still is an issue and yet another sad commentary on the those who are running for office but really have no business doing so. Yes I am aware that infidelity isn't a disqualification from running in elections, but it is sad that it would seem that so many in elected positions just can't remain faithful. I think that it does call into question the character of an individual who is not capable of keeping his or hers marriage vows. Not to mention that Edwards gets the extra a-hole mention for the fact that his wife has been dealing with illness for years. Then there is that whole lying to the public that nothing was going on.  So yeah it doesn't matter, unless you are thinking of running for office. In which case I would ask that I hope people are holding themselves to higher standard and we start holding those who are campaigning for our votes to a higher standard.

Report: Scientists Closer to Developing Invisibility Cloak

I just like seeing technology start catching up with sci-fi fantasy. Although did you ever notice that all the things that are usually always the standard in movies that are set in the near future are never the new things that we actually see developed. What I mean is that usually you see flying cars, motorcycles, rapid transportation, invisibility, laser guns etc..instead all of the major advancements that have been available to the public end up being, TIVO, IPODS, cell phone advancements and such. We still are nowhere near the next-gen automobile and we continue to search for an alternative fuel with no major advancements on the horizon. At least I will always have music available on a whim, I can be in almost instant contact with whomever I choose and I know I will never miss an episode of Wipeout.

'I Am Rich' iPhone App Removed After 8 Bought It

Am I the only one that thought this was cool? I could never afford it, but if someone could so what? What's the big difference between this, or a pimped out Escalade that gets 4 miles to the gallon, expensive jewelry or any other luxury that really only serves the purpose of showing to others how rich you are. Apple could have made all kinds of status symbol icons for the IPHONE. Maybe a little green tree for those that want to show they are environmentally conscious that could be offset by Carbon Credits or perhaps a little silver set of handcuffs that could symbolize you stole your IPHONE. Maybe even a red dollar sign to show that you're poor but still shelled out a ton of money for a fancy do it all phone.

Andrew's random video for Monday: I have 2 kids, ages 8 and 11, so I get to see a lot of today's kids shows.  Over the weekend my wife, who works with special-ed children, was surfing around on YouTube looking for videos that would help her teach them basic counting, and she found this video from old-school Sesame Street.  Man did it bring back some memories, and it really made me realize just how lame most of the kids programming is these days...

On Friday's show....

9 dead in SUV rollover north of Tucson

The only reason the car seen above still even resembles a car is because there were 19 people in it. Look at the front it's gone and yet you can still see the cars outline for the most part because people filled all the empty space. Nine suspected illegal aliens are dead and ten injured. This is insanity and why our government doesn't cut all the political and bureaucratic BS and send out the troops need to keep this from happening is beyond me. We would start the tax savings instantly, stop the border rights groups from wasting time encouraging immigrants to cross illegally, send a message to all the illegals in our country that we are no longer going to accept law breakers and most importantly start saving lives. No one was chasing these people, yet they were loaded with 19 people (based on reports from news sources given after this story was released) for a car that seats only 8 traveling upwards of 90mph. Now while I started this blog talking about the fact that I believe we need to secure that border air tight, I want to add that this was not the governments fault. The only people to blame are those who chose to cross illegally and get into that car. "We have a level of suspicion that the passengers riding inside this vehicle were undocumented aliens in the control of possible human smugglers," a statement said.

Ordinance would require shelters for day laborers

So why on earth would 19 people squeeze into an SUV and go racing through the desert at 90mpg....?  Because we have idiotic politicians who force companies to cater to those who come into our country illegally thats why.  The shelters would be complete with bathrooms, tables, drinking water and everything needed to tell an illegal alien he or she has done nothing wrong. Bethany Leal with the Multi-Ethnic Immigrant Worker Organizing Network, which supports the ordinance, called it an example of "immigration integration." Really? Now we have to have "immigration integration"? Last time I checked we were pretty much full of as much "illegal immigration integration" as we can handle. Can we also please dispense with the "immigration" title by the way, this is for the illegals, not those who have come here legally who quite frankly are just as upset at illegals as we are for not abiding by the laws. This isn't "immigration integration" it's "sovereignty disintegration" pure and simple. We have become an overcompassionate nation that is more concerned with the needs of those that don't respect our great nation at the expense of everyone else who loves this country and respects its laws.

On Thursdays Show:

LISTEN TO THE JON JUSTICE SHOW STREAMING LIVE

Arizona Star:Garcia, her foes have same rights to speak freely

Hey did you hear Justice isn't my real last name? I know big shock that a radio personality doesn't use his real last name? The truth is that even if I used my real last name I would be spending most of my time trying to explain how you pronounce it and how it's spelled, which is by and large the reason why I have been going by Justice for the past 12 years of my radio career. Hey did you hear, I am a hatemonger? I know big shock that a bunch of liberal opinion editors at the AZ Star would call a talk show host a hatemonger. I wonder if there has ever been a talk show host who was referred to as a lovemonger? The AZ star ignored this story for a month. They only covered it because the story got too big and this lame "Our View" is the result. It really should have just read like this:
"So Our View is.....we feel that what Isabel did was stupid...sort of...only because most of the comments say what she did was stupid....we really feel it was great....but  we suppose it was bad...However, she is so great and such a humanitarian that we will let it slide. Jon Justice...do we have to talk about him....seriously...because every time we do we lose readers....fine...Jon Justice has right under the 1st Amendment to say what he wants, even though we feel he is a racist, hatemonger...Oh and did we mention that Justice isn't his real name...About Joe Arpaio....he's from Phoenix.....so everyone was lame in this situation. Well everyone but Isabel, she's great. Now can we get back to talking about the plight of the tortoises please.
This 'Our View' is leading today's Neverending Parade of Stupid.

Tucson Citizen: They Want Her Head
The Citizen put this Op-Ed out today too. Everyone has an opinion.

Mexican soldiers enter U.S., hold agent briefly

In what country is this not an international incident? Oh yeah I forgot, a country that has decided to wage a justified war on terror and yet leaves an open border for anyone, including military from another country to cross its borders and detain our people. This is a total outrage and the fact that it just gets completely overlooked by most of the media is downright frightening. We are at war on the border and no one but the brave Border Patrol, ranchers living near the border and the Minutemen seem to know this. What would have happened if the situation were to have escalated resulting in someone getting shot? Would the Border Patrol agent have been justified to shoot these Mexican Military seeing that they were in our country holding him at gun point? I say absolutely, but the firestorm of such an action would have put all the blame on the agent. This is a mentality that I am afraid will never change until the majority of Americans realize just what is actually happening on the border. At 7am we will be speaking to Rob Daniels of the Border Patrol about this story and the rest of this weeks updates in the fight to protect the sovereignty of these United States from the illegal invasion.

Sen. Hillary Clinton Seeks Democratic Convention Voice

Just when we think she is out, she pulls herself back in. Obama is in bad shape and Hillary knows it. Kerry had a significant lead at this point in the campaign against Bush and looking back at past elections in similar election situations when the favored Democrat lost the Dem was ahead. Right now the polls are tied or have either Obama or McCain ahead by small margins. Hillary is simply getting herself in the position in the event that an opportunity arises where she feels she can steal the nomination from Obama at the last minute. I think the odds are fairly low that this will happen. However if the mainstream media grabs the story that Hillary may be trying some late election shenanigans it may make matters even worse for Obama. It's still to soon to really know what will happen, but one can dream, right?
