Rep. Hensarling Wants Probe of Senators

So much for bringing integrity and dignity to congress there, Nancy. I don't know whether members of Congress got deals on their home mortages or not, but it does bring up the question - just what has this Congress done and what promises have they fulfilled since they gained control? I don't have the quick answer to that, but I do know some of what they have accomplished...enjoy!

A little over one year ago:
1) Consumer confidence stood at a 2 1/2 year high;
2) Regular gasoline sold for $2.19 a gallon;
3) The unemployment rate was 4.5%.

Since voting in a Democratically controlled Congress in 2006 we have seen:
1) Consumer confidence plummet;
2) The cost of regular gasoline soar to over $3.50 a gallon;
3) Unemployment is up to 5% (a 10% increase);
4) American households have seen $2.3 trillion in equity value evaporate (stock and mutual fund losses);
5) Americans have seen their home equity drop by $1.2 trillion dollars;
6) 1% of American homes are in foreclosure.

America voted for 'change' in 2006, and we got it!

Remember, it's Congress that makes the laws,.not the President. He has to work with what's handed him.

More weapons caches turning up in Iraq

I see stories like this, or talk with LTC Matt Garner in Iraq and I wonder what the country would be like if we gave proper attention to the Iraq war. Imagine if the coverage were as intense as it was when the war was at it's worst. Do you think people would be feeling like maybe things are not so bad after all? Maybe the country wouldn't be so worried about the gas prices. Maybe Obama wouldn't be leading in the polls since everyone would know that are winning the war and to pullout would be to admit defeat in the face of victory. Let us remember always the brave men and women who are winning this war and fighting for our freedom every single day.

Winner of $57M Mega Millions has criminal record

There is a reason I don't ever play the lottery. Doesn't it seem like the majority of people who do play every week are idiots?  There should honestly be some rules in place that says if you have been be convicted of a crime that you cannot win. Especially given some of the crimes this scum had been convicted of. These rules would never be in place of course because states need the money from lotteries. To ban people who have been convicted of crimes would be taking money from the states hands because, like I said, most players are idiots!

Andrew...I couldn't stiop laughing at your random video of the day, keep it up! Jon...Great show today, you have more supporters than you know. More people are tuning in every day! I have to say, you are right on about not giving the state superintendant the power to get rid of the Raza studies program. As much as I want to see the program abolished, giviing someone that kind of power would open a bigger can of worms. We all need to stay informed and vote the right people into office come November. Let's put all of these idiiots who are part of "the neverending parade of stupid" on the trolley and put the trolley on the boat to Cnina with all of our recyclables. Keep up the good work! Ding Ding!
