Rural calls for help wait as Arpaio chases entrants
This is a story that ran in AZ Star on Sunday. After all the controversy, video proof, calls to Chuck Huckleberrys office to fire Pima County Legal Defender Isabel Garcia, this is the story they ran. I am shocked by the lack of local media coverage on this story. We have video tape proof of a Pima County Legal Defender inciting children, who are not even old enough to vote, to use acts of aggression against the likeness of law enforcement on public property. We have video proof of this same taxpayer funded, local government appointed, Pima County Legal Defender carrying the likeness of a member of law enforcements head and I have not seen one story....NOT ONE! This got me wondering that maybe this isn't that big of deal? Sure I have received countless emails from people who are outraged. Sure the story and video has spread across the internet like wildfire. Sure the videos themselves the last time I look have been looked at over 6,000 times. But maybe since the media has been silent that there really is no story. Maybe a government employee walking around with the severed head of a member of law enforcement and children ages 16 and 17 beating up the likeness of a member of law enforcement just isn't news or investigation worthy? But then I found this....
Illegal Immigration activist may sue over email from Mexican flag burner

In May of 2006, a local citizen sent an e-mail, stating how he would defend himself on his own property to the same Pima County Legal Defender Isabel Garcia and it made news! AN EMAIL MADE NEWS!
Then I found this little gem of a video:
This video taken from a city council meeting back in 06 shows Isabel Garcia slamming local police, painting a very pretty picture of her protest, while condemning the actions of anti-illegal immigrant protesters. Now it most be noted that these groups burned Mexican flags and were charged with inciting violence. While I do not condone these types of tactics, I do find her comments interesting in light of the Joe Arpaio protest. Especially when you consider that at the protest last week there was no counter protest taking place and yet I stood there and heard racial slurs and calls to incite violence. I stood there and watched actions that I feel are exponentially more hateful that burning a flag. Plus, the Joe Arpaio protest actions were completely unprovoked. I have heard from many who consider Isabel Garcias actions in promoting children as young as 14 to protest against law enforcement an act to incite violence. If you google the 2006 event you will find countless local stories because one local citizen burned a flag. Does anyone else see a problem here?!?
