Immigration details. Justice notices we haven’t had extreme leftist calls lately, until today they seem to come at him. Kruiser describes some party pleasing speakers thought processes, whining about how they aren’t getting enough attention unless they’re showing bipartisanship.
Gun Control Debate and Obama
Justice reads a recap of what Obama says about the Gun Control movement. Obama said the general agreed upon consensus will be determined by how the media projects information. Kruiser comments on how we’ve never had a President who’s said this. He breaks down the message, essentially, Obama wants to make the decision to determine who can have guns or not; this group but not that group. Obama cites specific media outlets and names of shows who go against his choices.
Kruiser brings up a similar media tactic Clinton had done. It isn’t about the media, but the rallying cry is downplaying anyone that goes against their beliefs. Justice notices it feels more like US vs. Them. Kruiser says Obama’s agenda is to shame those who go against his ideas.
Justice describes a call earlier, where a man calls him a Racist. “Low Information voters” are what they are says Kruiser.
A new Vision for the GOP?
Justice clarifies it’s a better messaging issue, not a better vision. Justice shares his history of previous shows where he interviewed, John McCain, on a lists of all GOP arguments against him. He had an excuse for everyone. Kruiser shares his experiences with him, as well, saying he wasn’t always like that.
“ He (Mcain) used to be hard core and didn’t care about the press liking him, “ says Kruiser.
Stephen expands on the new vision. He comments that the current GOP representatives are finally seeing the messages; that we are horrible at talking to people. This frustration actually helps us to find ways to express it, to work on it, to get the messages out there. It’s a start of a motivation to take action.
Stephen suggests to cater the messages that will hit people personally. Find ways to relate to people where it links to their lives so they can see the perspectives we believe in.
They comment on Football, Obama’s comments , “…if I had a son, he’d look like Treyvon”, and Cheerleading as a near acrobat ninja sport now.
